There are other web sites that have USS RAY information and pictures.

BOTTOMGUNS: This one is the first RAY web site, done by Don Shelton. Don Shelton rode the RAY from 1969 to 1970. It hasn't been updated in years, but still gives a good picture of times back when.
The Bottomguns website was then made available by Owen "Coyote" Carlson for many years, and now is part of this RAYunion website.

Don Gentry rode the RAY from 1975 to 1979. Don Gentry also has a web site with pictures of back-when RAY people, and includes another copy of Don Shelton's old web site, and several useful links to submarine things. It can be found at: http://www.submarinesailor.com/boats/ssn653/ssn653.asp.

Dan Marks was on the RAY from 1974 to 1978. Dan had a small website primarily for the crunch crew, but also includes RAYunion 2010 photos, RAYunion 2014 photos, and RAYunion 2017 photos. Dan's pages are now archived on this website and can be viewed at: https://www.rayunion.net/USSRay.htm.

A Television presentation by station WTAT-TV in Charleston featuring RAY called The Men Who Wear The Dolphins is outstanding at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQ0XqE5CTF4.

A Tribute to Ray by Dennis Dio Parker can be seen on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=or778rEq0V0.

The NavSource web site features RAY (SSN-653) at: http://www.navsource.org/archives/08/08653.htm and RAY (SS/SSR-271) at: http://www.navsource.org/archives/08/08271.htm.
