This is the time that we are given access to our Hospitality Room. The RAYunion Committee will be setting things up and just hanging out getting ready.

8:00 AM - 11:30 PM, Magnolia Room

The Hospitality Room will be open all day for any early arrivals. Arrival, check in and get reacquainted with shipmates. In the morning, there will be a coffee service setup with some kind of fruit and pastries available. There is a planned meet and greet function. In the afternoon there will be some type of finger foods / appetizers available.

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, USS Drum / USS Alabama Battleship Park

8 AM departure by chartered bus from the hotel. Lunch and tours of the USS Drum (SS-228) and USS Alabama (BB-60). Tour at the USS Drum will include a Tolling ceremony for our shipmates on Eternal Patrol who have passed since the 2017 RAYunion in Norfolk, Virginia. We are getting an early special tour from Tom Bowser, author of the book The Three Lives of the USS Drum. Cost is $60, which includes bus transportation, admission, lunch, Eternal Patrol Ceremony and tour guide.

8:00 AM - 11:30 PM, Magnolia Room

The Hospitality Room will be open all day. Arrival, check in and get reacquainted with shipmates. In the morning, there will be a coffee service setup with some kind of fruit and pastries available. There is a planned meet and greet function. In the afternoon there will be some type of finger foods / appetizers available. In the evening, we will have a submarine-related movie for anyone who is not DINK.

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Magnolia Room

The Hospitality Room will be open until Dinner Banquet. Arrival, check in and get reacquainted with shipmates. In the morning, there will be a coffee service setup with some kind of fruit and pastries available. The Plankowners will have a luncheon at a separate location from 12 noon to 2 PM. There is a planned meet and greet function. In the afternoon there will be some type of finger foods / appetizers available.

5:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Dinner Banquet in Bienville C & D at hotel

You will choose entree when you fill out the RAYunion registration form. Choices are Boneless Breast of Chicken or Baked New Orleans Fish for $40 per plate or Slow Roasted Prime Rib for an additional $15 per plate. ($55)
Keynote Speaker will be Tom Bowser, author of the book The Three Lives of the USS Drum.
Full menu description as follows:
Each Selection includes rolls & butter, fresh garden salad, freshly brewed regular and decaffeinated coffee and iced tea.
Entrees are accompanied by fresh seasonal vegetables, Chef's selection of starch and dessert.
Choice of:
  1) Boneless Breast of Chicken with a tangy Marsala wine reduction & mushrooms, or
  2) New Orleans Baked Fish served with shrimp cream sauce, or
  3) Slow Roasted Prime Rib accompanied with Au Jus sauce.

8:00 AM - 10:00 AM, Magnolia Room

The Hospitality Room will be open. In the morning, there will be a coffee service setup with some kind of fruit and pastries available.

10:00 AM - 12 noon, Golf Outing

Golf outing. $30 per person.

12 noon - 11:30 PM, Magnolia Room

The Hospitality Room will be open. In the evening, we will have a submarine-related movie for anyone who is not DINK.

8:00 AM - 12 noon, Magnolia Room

The Hospitality Room will be open with coffee service setup with some kind of fruit and pastries available until noon at which time it will be closed for good.
