Do you think you might imbibe an alcoholic beverage while attending RAYunion 2022? Please email a list of your 4 favorite beers (or other preferred beverage) to the WEBMASTER so we can make sure we have plenty for you. NO STUFFING THE BALLOT BOX! If you don't plan to come to the RAYunion, we don't care for your opinion! (Just like the "good old days.")
Here is the proposed schedule for the RAYunion 2022 Hospitality Room. It is a "WORK-IN-PROGRESS" and subject to change.
The 2022 RAYunion Planning Committee is receptive to your suggestions, as well.
Wednesday, 05/18/2022.
3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Magnolia Room
This is the time that we are given access to our Hospitality Room. The RAYunion Committee will be setting things up and just hanging out getting ready.
Thursday, 05/19/2022.
8:00 AM - 11:30 PM, Magnolia Room
The Hospitality Room will be open all day for any early arrivals. Arrival, check in and get reacquainted with shipmates. In the morning, there will be a coffee service setup with some kind of fruit and pastries available. There is a planned meet and greet function. In the afternoon there will be some type of finger foods / appetizers available.
Friday, 05/20/2022.
8:00 AM - 11:30 PM, Magnolia Room
The Hospitality Room will be open all day. Arrival, check in and get reacquainted with shipmates. In the morning, there will be a coffee service setup with some kind of fruit and pastries available. There is a planned meet and greet function. Separately, in the morning, we will conduct a Tolling ceremony for our shipmates on Eternal Patrol at the USS Drum in Battleship Park. In the afternoon there will be some type of finger foods / appetizers available. In the evening, we will have a submarine-related movie for anyone who is not DINK.
Saturday, 05/21/2022.
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Magnolia Room
The Hospitality Room will be open until Dinner Banquet. Arrival, check in and get reacquainted with shipmates. In the morning, there will be a coffee service setup with some kind of fruit and pastries available. There is a planned meet and greet function. In the afternoon there will be some type of finger foods / appetizers available. The USS Drum / USS Alabama Battleship Park tour is scheduled from 12 noon - 4:00 PM, but the Hospitality Room will remain open for those that do not go on the tour. The Hospitality Room will close at 5:00 PM because we expect everyone to attend the Dinner Banquet.
Sunday, 05/22/2022.
8:00 AM - 10:00 AM, Magnolia Room
The Hospitality Room will be open. In the morning, there will be a coffee service setup with some kind of fruit and pastries available. In the evening, we will have a submarine-related movie for anyone who is not DINK. Although some crewmembers will attend the Golf outing in the morning, the Hospitality Room will remain open for everyone else. Similarly, some crewmembers will attend the Perdido Queen Dinner Cruise in the evening, but the Hospitality Room will remain open for everyone else.
Monday, 05/23/2022.
8:00 AM - 12 noon, Magnolia Room
The Hospitality Room will be open with coffee service setup with some kind of fruit and pastries available until noon at which time it will be closed for good.
